With nearly 30 years in the market, we have firmly established ourselves as a leading Danish design company with an international look and appeal. We are known for pushing boundaries, daring to challenge conventions, and questioning the status quo.
Our deep fascination with light drives us to continuously explore its impact on and significance for people. At the same time, we experiment with light, pushing the boundaries of norms and traditions to develop innovative ways of creating illumination. This approach ensures that we remain not only relevant but often ahead of our time.
Design philosophy
Light is one of the most essential elements in shaping our living spaces. At LIGHT-POINT, we hold a profound respect for this fact, which is why we never compromise. Every lamp we create is the result of a relentless pursuit of the perfect balance between ultimate form and cutting-edge lighting technology – combining exceptional quality, high functionality, and timeless aesthetics.

Our DNA and design language
Our approach to design is both architectural and artistic. Our style is elegant and minimalist, yet edgy and expressive. Each lamp exists on the boundary between functional light objects and artistic expression—sculptural, distinctive, and unmistakably signature in design. These lamps form a cohesive family—diverse yet united by the same DNA and design language. They can serve as style markers and bold design statements within a space, exuding attitude and character. At the same time, they can be sophisticated, understated, and serene, blending seamlessly into their surroundings, or even disappearing entirely.
Craftsmanship of the highest quality materials
All LIGHT-POINT lamps are crafted from aluminum and come in a wide range of finishes and colors, including brass, titanium, and rose gold. Of course, most models are also available in classic black and white.
Our lamps are distinguished by their high level of detail and technical precision – thoughtfully and meticulously designed from the inside out. This is craftsmanship using only the finest materials, ensuring durability and a long lifespan. Additionally, our entire range is available with LED light sources.
Professional lighting experts and award-winning design
Our Danish design team and lighting experts provide guidance and inspiration for creating unique, innovative solutions and crafting exceptional lighting environments and experiences – whether in private homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, or other public spaces.
Over the years, we have been honored with several prestigious international design awards, including the Red Dot Design Award, the iF Design Award, and the German Design Award.
Exclusive collaborations
We are proud to collaborate exclusively with the internationally renowned design studio, Studio F. A. Porsche.
This partnership has resulted in two exclusive collections: INLAY and BLADE. These collections seamlessly integrate into LIGHT-POINTs broader portfolio of innovative lighting design, blending almost symbiotically. The lamps are statement pieces – timeless, yet contemporary. Masculine and chic at the same time.
In addition to designing, producing, and distributing our own products, LIGHT-POINT also holds the rights to the iconic Danish outdoor lamp Rørhat, designed by Jesper Juhl Pedersen in 1989.
Nearly 30 years of lighting design
Ronni Gol founded LIGHT-POINT in 1995, starting from his 16-square-meter student apartment in Copenhagen. Shortly thereafter, the company moved to larger premises. Initially, LIGHT-POINT distributed lamps from other design brands, primarily from Italy. A small kitchen spotlight marked the beginning of in-house production, sparking rapid product development under Ronni Gol’s leadership. The company quickly attracted major clients, including several governmental institutions such as Christiansborg and various ministries.
To expand the creative vision, Ronni Gol collaborated with external and in-house designers while also designing a number of lamps himself. Among these was the outdoor lamp CUBE, which remains a bestseller to this day.
Today, LIGHT-POINT designs, manufactures, and distributes lighting solutions to an extensive international audience worldwide. The company’s headquarters is located on Grønnegade in the heart of Copenhagen, near its 800-square-meter flagship store and showroom at the corner of Gothersgade and Borgergade.
