LIGHT-POINT is a modern Danish design house headquartered in the heart of Copenhagen—at one of the city’s most desirable addresses—with a combined showroom and lamp store just a few steps away, at the corner of Gothersgade and Borgergade. We located on a bustling and inspiring street with many exciting design stores.
However, our store is not just another design or lamp store. It is an experience universe where you can explore 800 square meters of international atmosphere spread over two floors. A spacious area where there is room to properly see the lamps. For nearly 30 years, we have been designing lamps for quality-conscious customers who desire something special - lamps that stand out. And so does our store! We believe it’s the most beautiful lamp store in Copenhagen.
Lamp store with unique lighting designs and professional lighting advice
Here at the edge of Borgergade and Gothersgade, you can experience all our unique designer lamps. And when we say all, we mean the entire large LIGHT-POINT family, including our two collections designed in collaboration with Studio F.A. Porsche. But you can also receive professional advice. It is essential to us that you, as a customer, feel confident. That’s why our skilled lighting experts are always ready to guide you, whether you need an introduction to all our models or help with both small and large lighting plans after choosing the lamps you want—not only for your home but also for your outdoor space. Of course, we offer a wide range of lamps for both indoor and outdoor use.
We are also distributors of the renowned Italian lighting brand Oluce, founded in 1945. You can therefore also see a selection of their design classics in the store.
A showroom full of aesthetic, modern designer lamps

But if not, you have the opportunity to get a complete overview of all our designer lamps in the store, which also serves as a showroom. That’s why we’ve created inspiring environments so you can more easily envision how you can use the lamps in your own home. The large, open, and stylish corner store also attracts customers from all over the world. Copenhagen is a popular city, visited by many design tourists, who often come in to explore our design universe—drawn by our truly unique aesthetics.
Our staff not only advises private customers but also professional experts who need our lamps for larger projects in public spaces, such as restaurants, hotels, offices, etc. And in our dynamic showroom, there are ongoing events where customers are introduced to the world of lighting.
