When the terrace becomes a well-designed environment, it becomes a sanctuary where we can vacation. Every day! Previously, we sat on the terrace in the summer, preferably when it was 20+ degrees. Today, we simply spend more time outside, and use the outdoor space earlier in the spring and continue well into the fall. We put on a sweater and bring the thermos out to the terrace, light up the fire pit or outdoor fireplace, and enjoy the sound of crackling fire. Create a cosy atmosphere with the right garden lighting

Many make the mistake of over-lighting. Remember that the light should primarily create a mood. However, it also provides security when you're inside the house and can see what's happening outside.

There can be significant savings by choosing outdoor lamps with a sensor, as a sensor ensures that the lamp is only on when needed. There are motion sensors, which have a preventive effect against unwanted guests. There are light sensors, which only turn on when darkness falls, and time sensors, which – as the name suggests – can be set to turn on and off at specific times of the day.
