How high should a wall lamp be mounted?
There are some general guidelines for how high you should mount a wall light. A lamp positioned too high or too low can affect both the lighting experience and the overall aesthetics of the room. Lighting is not just about choosing the right lamps; it’s also about the placement of the light. And as a starting point, you should place a wall light at eye level, which is around 175 cm (plus or minus 5-10 cm) from the floor. However, the exact height depends on your ceiling height. In rooms with higher ceilings, you can raise the lamp slightly to create a more visually pleasing and harmonious look.
